Harry Hamelink ~ Motel Mozaïque Festival ~ founder and programmer Harry organizes festivals, concerts and city tours in the Netherlands and invited thousands of pop groups. Such as Black Country, New Road, Ichiko Aoba, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, James Blake and from Taiwan Outlet Drift, The Fur, WWWW Prairie and Murky Ghost. As the programmer of MOMO Festival, Harry creates distinctive events consisting of music, dance, visual art and extraordinary experiences. Here the city is literally used as a stage. International programming takes place in music venues and theaters, but also in streets, hospitals, abandoned shipyards and construction sites. He also organizes Parfum de BoemBoem, titillating tours about the transformation of the city. Architects and construction engineers tell stories about the spots to be visited. Musicians, poets and dancers enrich the place by performing on construction sites, demolition areas or underground locations. He was previously a concert promotor of a famous Dutch concert hall called Nighttown; staff member of Rotterdam 2001, Cultural Capital of Europe and music programmer of the Oerol Festival, a ten-day festival on a beautiful Dutch island. In 2023, Harry received the Cultural Medal, a prestigious art prize from the city of Rotterdam.
