It’s not easy being in a band, as Bandung based punk-rockers Dongker know all too well. The group were set to disband and call it a day… before deciding to give it one last push. Made up of Delpi on guitar, Arno on guitar and vocals, Bilal on bass and Dzikri on drums, the quartet released the single “Bertaruh Pada Api” (Betting on Fire) at the end of 2022, which ended up being the band’s most successful single to date. The creative energy sparked once again, snowballing into a series of singles and live shows, reminding the band why they do this. Dongker lives!
